Biosafety Training

Biosafety Training is required for all employees who work with materials that are handled at Biosafety Level 2 (BSL2), including work with human blood, body fluids, tissue, cell lines, animals infected with human pathogens, mammalian viruses, etc. This training is required annually. Employees who have taken this class at least once at WSU may take the annual refresher online. The training session for those taking this course for the first time or who prefer to retrain in the classroom setting, may attend the next session on Wednesday, August 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in 3125 Scott Hall. About the Student Senate

The Student Senate represents the medical school student body to the administration of Wayne State University School of Medicine, the main campus of Wayne State University, and to the Detroit Medical Center, and to the community. We strive to discuss and investigate any and all issues of interest to the student body of Wayne State University School of Medicine.

Our goal is to implement specific courses of action resulting from discussion of ideas and concerns brought to the Senate as advocates of the student body.
